About Us

Frank Swain 

Frank was articled at Hodgson Harris (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers) and joined the firm in 1976 becoming a partner in 1986. Frank specialises in the Health Care Sector and Agriculture. Frank was educated at Hymers College, Hull. Outside of work Frank is a table tennis exponent, and somewhat apprehensively has recently taken to golf. 

Richard Lacey 

Richard joined the Practice in 1993 from Coopers and Lybrand. Like Frank Richard had trained with Hodgson Harris. Richard’s specialist areas are IT, Corporate Finance and Audit. Richard succeeds his father Don Lacey who was a partner from 1960 to 1998. Like Frank, Richard is an Old Hymerian. Richard’s interests include archaeology and photography 

The Firm 

The predominantly young staff are all actively encouraged to pursue professional qualifications, to complement the existing qualified members, and their training is enhanced by the firm's membership of SWAT who are a nationally recognised training and consulting organisation. 

The firm moved to new prestigious offices in 1996 near the Humber Bridge and just off the A63, the main arterial route into Hull. Clients have welcomed the easy access and parking facilities afforded by the location and continue to enthuse over what is probably the finest view of any offices in the region, looking over the River Humber and its magnificent bridge. 

The firm has expanded substantially in recent years partly due to regular recommendations given to prospective clients by leading banks and solicitors as well as existing clients.
